At the start of January, Enrichment Partnership took part in Hopwood Hall College’s teaching and learning conference, with the main aim to make sure staff have the skills they need to help students succeed. Staff and students both seem to be out of the habit of working to exams, following the period of teacher assessed grades over Covid, and some of their staff have come from industry.
We tasked our trainer Johnathan Lane with the job of re-working our study skills session aimed at students, to be valuable to their staff. Over the day Johnathan trained around 200 staff in person as part of their staff development. Angie Simms, teacher training coordinator said “Thanks for a great session. We have had lots of good feedback from departmental teams.” and Johnathan commented “It was great. The link staff were very friendly and welcoming. The teachers were complimentary about the session and seemed to take something from it.”
Thanks again for having us!
