Students and staff at Putney High School have completed their first 6-week introductory British Sign Language sessions. Kate Molan, head of sixth form said all “really enjoyed it.”
Anthony (trainer) “We completed a six session course teaching Sign Language and Deaf Awareness to students at Putney High School. The group of students was exceptional, especially given that the classes were delivered online. Students asked so many questions regarding many aspects of deaf people’s lives including their careers, education, how they deal in the real world and why sign language is so beneficial for them. Students displayed similar enthusiasm for the sign language they acquired during our short time together. The students were bright and eager – a lovely group. It was a pleasure to teach them.”
