On Monday Zoe had a great time with the students at St Thomas More Catholic School, Blaydon covering employability skills with their Y10 students. The sessions were part of their year 10 work experience in-school programme for those students who haven’t confirmed a work experience. The main learning objective was to give students a chance to develop soft skills and prepare for the world of work in preparation for thinking about their next steps.
Zoe covered ran two workshops on preparation to work (CV skills, job search, interview skills) and soft skills for work (mindset, motivation, resilience).
