Lara started out working in social media marketing back when Instagram didn’t exist (!), and the power of such tools had yet to be fully understood. Moved by her deep interest in digital communities and tools, she worked her way up as a Marketing Manager covering most elements of the marketing mix, whilst also building teams and mentoring them. During the last decade, Lara has worked with a wide array of stakeholders and audiences, from small B2C businesses to niche-sector B2B brands – mainly in the creative industries and in higher education. In the last year, Lara has become self-employed, currently working as a marketing consultant, yoga teacher, DJ, and booking agent. At the core of everything she does, there is a strong passion for sharing her knowledge and supporting causes she believes in – one of them being access to education.

Lara holds a BA in Communication Studies and an MSc in Marketing, obtained respectively in Florence, Italy (her hometown), and London.
