It was a great pleasure to be a part of Ashton Sixth Form College’s enterprise day for their Y12 students on Monday! Enrichment Partnership were invited to run two social media skills talks, and two talks on becoming an entrepreneur. Rubbi Bhogal-Wood ran the sessions and said “I ran 4 sessions spanning two topics and had some great engagement from the students. Their entrepreneurial ideas were particularly unique and inventive. They were pushed out of their comfort zones when they realised they had to present their pitches back to their peers at the front of the lecture space but they delivered with style and passion! I must acknowledge the college staff who were wonderfully welcoming, which always makes presenting in a new space that bit easier.”
The day was organised by Rachel Smirke (Director of curriculum and progression) and Alex Noble (Raising Aspirations Coordinator). Alex said “Please thank Rubbi for visiting Ashton and working with our students. We appreciate Rubbi pushing students out of their comfort zone, as mentioned, and delivering valuable sessions that will support students with their next steps after college.”
Thanks for having us at Ashton Sixth Form College, it has been an absolute pleasure working with you both, and your school.
