On Tuesday, Enrichment Partnership were invited to The Manchester College to run our Becoming an Entrepreneur and Introduction to Marketing Workshops as part of their Business Industry Day.
Organised by Lucy Brett, Employability and Partnership Coordinator said “Thank you so much for providing such amazing employers for yesterday’s workshops. Leanne and Amy were incredible and the workshops themselves were fully engaging. The students really enjoyed them.”
Becoming an Entrepreneur was led by Amy – As an entrepreneur herself Amy was able to share her wisdom on the whole process of coming up with business ideas and putting them into fruition. A thoroughly engaging workshop that I am sure has inspired our budding entrepreneurs Amy said “The session was fantastic – the students were engaged and the staff were very friendly. I was impressed with how interactive the students were and how many of them had business ideas they had actively started to bring to fruition.”
Leanne ran our Introduction to Marketing workshop who was able to share her expert experiences within this field whilst also offering some engaging activities for the students to gain a real insight into social media marketing. said “They created great personas and developed really good products/services in their groups. The branding and emotions went down well, even had some tears watching the mum video.”
Students also shared what they enjoyed by taking part in the workshops “I enjoyed how clear and nice the lady was. She made things clear and had good example.” “There wasn’t just one thing I enjoyed as there many good aspects” “having well experienced people talking and answering our questions.” “I enjoyed learning about the different parts of becoming an entrepreneur and setting up your own business.”
