Yesterday Enrichment Partnership were invited to Oasis Academy Leesbrook in Oldham for their Y10’s to learn about Becoming an Entrepreneurship. Huge thanks to Natalie for once again inspiring the students with her experience of being an entrepreneur. Natalie said “One student, within a one hour session virtually put a full business plan together having worked out all his costs, how many sales he would need to make a profit, who his customers were and how he was going to market his business. I think the student’s eyes were opened to the possibility of what they could achieve and how they could potentially create a business in line with a personal hobby, or a day to day problem that needed solving. Students generally got involved offering suggestions as to what skills they might need to be a successful entrepreneur, the session also shone a spotlight on their parents and relatives who run their own business. Until now I think many of the students had not considered their friends or family entrepreneurs and after the session certainly saw them in a different light where they had respect for those they knew who run their own business as they now had a better understanding how much effort and commitment it takes.”
