Last week we had the pleasure to return to Trinity Sevenoaks to run the second half of the Becoming an Entrepreneur Course.
The training session was led by Dawn Maclean who runs her own marketing business. She was really impressed with how the students had applied their knowledge to make profitable businesses “Session went well. One groups presented their business plans, flyer and video advert, the other group gave a talk about their business plan. Q&A session after about the world of work and entrepreneurship and marketing. Great feedback from the last session there – 2 girls put their business idea into action and did a cake bake for charity and are considering doing a cake to order service for the sixth form.”
Head of Sixth Form, Richard Shaw “Dawn was great and related well to the students” and the students shared their thoughts about what they enjoyed from the sessions “I enjoyed tackling how to make a business plan and find a gap in the market.” “I enjoyed finding out the process of starting up a business and understanding how it can be easy to initially get it running.”
Keep up the great work Trinity Sevenoaks Students!
