Patricia Grey

Patricia has over 2 decades of classroom experience and is a fully qualified teacher of English. Her skills are underpinned by a Masters in Education, a degree in English and extensive knowledge of KS3/ KS4 and KS5. She also has a level 3 diploma in early years and supports as a professional collaborative partner having a strong understanding of the earliest stages of learning to secondary school education.  

Patricia is a highly experienced AQA examiner and has taught content from the IGCSE syllabus, Equdas and the  WJEC board. She is also a private tutor providing high quality teaching for 11+ entrance exams and English Literature and Language GCSE exams. She specialises in building the confidence and self-esteem of learners and is able to capture a love of learning, transforming the mundane into the spectacular. Patricia is highly sought after and has received an award from her constituent Mayor for being female figurehead as well as receiving an Anne Franke’s award for making a difference to young people. She has published work in a children’s poetry anthology and has produced an article on Parents as Educators that was well acclaimed. Patricia also regularly engages in public speaking events and is a compliant practitioner with a valid DBS on the update service.
