Pre-recorded BSL
The pre-recorded BSL package is £499 for the school for one year and consists of 6 sessions (30 minutes each) for your students to learn basic sign language and gain an understanding of deaf awareness.

- 6 ready-to-use video lessons which teach students the basic language skills required to engage in a conversation
with deaf people - Each video is 30 minutes
- Access for your whole school for one calendar year
- Engaging and interactive content that is easy for teachers to use
- Flexibility to teach BSL through remote learning or in the classroom.
- Unlimited logins so each student at your school can start learning BSL
- Everything is provided – teachers don’t have to do anything – no prep or knowledge needed
- 6 ready-to-use video lessons which teach students the basic language skills required to engage in a conversation
Outcomes

- The programme is designed specifically for schools
- Includes voiceover, vocabulary, Q&A and explanations regarding grammar, sentence structure, word order etc. to give students a rounded learning experience
- There is also flexibility included to: (i) study again (ii) take a BSL refresher or (iii) complete the programme from home for those who cannot come into school
- The package is for the whole school including students, teachers and classroom assistants and can be taught at a time that suits your timetable
- It includes:
Classroom learning – students will practise together in pairs
Home learning – students will practise with the tutor. They answer questions from and engage directly with the tutor.
Additional resources such as alphabet sheets, activity sheets, multiple choice questions etc. - After completing the six sessions :
Students will receive a certificate of attendance
Students can apply to do a fast track BSL Level 1 (accredited)
Teachers can also benefit from CPD points by working through the online programme
