This morning we had the pleasure of being invited to The Bolsover School to lead a Becoming an Entrepreneur Talk for their Y10 students. Careers Advisor Debbie Crossley said “”Great job, lots of great information for our Year 10 students. Lots of content, and many of the students were answering questions and seemed very engaged.”
The session was led by Natalie Reeve who wrote and development our Becoming an Entrepreneur Workshop, so it was great to invite her back to lead this session. Natalie also has a wealth of experience in entrepreneurship; she set up her first business when she was 18 years old. Since then Natalie has gone on to help and support others in business through developing and delivering training courses through her company. Natalie was also the CEO of an international media company for 10 years, published a book on running a small business and was nominated for a European Business Woman of the Year Award.
The Becoming an Entrepreneur talk covered the key skills of an entrepreneur, young entrepreneurs and how they got started, coming up with a business idea, testing the market, competition, sales and marketing, setting up a small business, creating a business plan and goal setting.
